The Rural Cultural Foundation proposed to instigate the installation of a defibrillator outside the entrance gates to the Roman Lakes for potential public use in an emergency. With funding from the British Heart Foundation, Friends of Our Valley and the Roman Lakes Leisure Park the device was fitted in early 2019.
The Rural Cultural Foundation organises regular free training sessions to the public.
